Have you added some bright colors to your hair lately? I'd love to have a random bright color for a couple of days, but then I'd want to go back to my normal color. I was able to try some hair chalk from Scunci, which enabled me to sport a bit of color on my locks for just a day. Keep reading to learn more.
About Scunci Hair Chalk
Retail price: $7.99
Found at: Walmart, CVS, and Walgreens
Colors available: coral/purple and pink/turquoise
Used to add temporary hair color to your ends.
How to Use
Slide the desired color onto the tool. Make sure your hair is brushed. You can add hair spray to your sections before applying the chalk to intensify color (especially for dark hair).
Hold the tool closed on a section of hair and glide it down to the end, just like using a straightener. You can repeat until you get the amount of color you want. Set with hair spray to make it last longer.
The chalk can get a little messy, but it will easily wash off skin, clothes, and hair.
As you can see from the picture above, it did show up on my dark hair. The teal showed up really well. I would strongly suggest setting it with hairspray to lock it in though. Otherwise, it will rub off fairly quickly. It's something cool to do every once in a while without having to commit to more permanent color. I think it would look good on curled hair too.
