12 Drugstore Beauty Products You NEED to Try!

12 drugstore beauty products you need to try!

I've got 12 favorite drugstore beauty items to share, ranging from makeup to hair! (And hey, I could write poems!).

These are products I think everyone needs to try at least once. The best part is that they're all affordable and easily accessible.  Keep reading to discover some of my top drugstore picks.

1. Clean & Clear Morning Burst Facial Cleanser

I've tried all kinds of facial cleansers at multiple price points. This is the one I keep going back to because it's not harsh and gets the job done. It's a basic cleanser that removes my makeup and leaves my face feeling clean without feeling stripped. I use this Clean & Clear cleanser every single night with my Clarisonic Mia. I have repurchased it countless times.

2. Garnier Fructis Hydra Recharge
1-Minute Moisture-Plenish Treatment

I got this product as part of a BzzAgent campaign. It was the first time I had ever tried it. It's something I'll definitely repurchase. This treatment works quick (1 minute!), smells amazingly fruity, and adds some hydration to my hair. Sometimes I use it instead of my normal conditioner (which is also a part of the Hydra Recharge line).

3. Nivea Touch of Renewal Lathering Body Scrub

This product was also on my 12 favorites of 2012 list (which is my most popular post of all time thanks to Pinterest!). There's a reason it also made this list: it's a-mazing! I love to use this scrub to exfoliate my legs before shaving. It gives me the smoothest legs of my life! This is a holy grail product for sure. I will keep buying this scrub over and over as long as it's available.

4. Wet n Wild Megashield Lip Color

If you haven't tried these Wet n Wild lipsticks, run to the store and grab them all NOW. I'm kidding (sort of), but you really should at least try one. They're extremely inexpensive (around $3!) and they provide smooth color. I buy these all the time because they're so cheap. The quality is great for the price you pay too.

5. Got2b Dry Shampoo

This is a great, inexpensive option for dry shampoo. I wash my hair every other day and for the off days, I usually need a little boost for my roots. After I style my hair, I just spray this dry shampoo on my roots and blend it in. It keeps my hair looking fresh all day. And when I say fresh, I mean just-out-of-the-shower-fresh.

6. Garnier BB Cream

I haven't worn foundation ever since I got this BB cream. It covers imperfections and feels light on my skin. It's a perfect option for summer! Here's the full review.

7. E.L.F. Blush

At just $3, you wouldn't necessarily think this blush was very good. Like, it has to be a joke. Good blush for $3?! Yes, it's true - E.L.F. products are extremely affordable and have great quality! If you don't have a ton of money to spend, but want to play around with different blush options, go for an E.L.F. one.

8. Wet n Wild Color Icon Eye Shadow Trio

Another mind-blowingly inexpensive buy! It was also around $3, which is amazing for a whole eye look! It comes with an eyelid shade, crease color, and browbone (aka highlight) color. The trios are small so they're great for travel and storage. The shadows blend well and last all day if you wear a primer underneath (but that's the key to any good eye look anyway). There are a lot of good color combos available too! Review here.

9. Nivea A Kiss of Olive Oil & Lemon
Moisture Rich Lip Care

This lip balm is one of my favorites by far. When applied, it makes my lips feel silky smooth. It's not a thick balm. It just layers your lips with hydrating balm and seals in moisture. It lasts a lonnnnng time too because I've had it for months and I still have a lot of product left.

10. Sally Hansen Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear

The polishes from this Sally Hansen line are great. I like the formula, like the brush, and LOVE the price (less than $3 at Target). This particular color, Mint Sorbet, is hot for Spring! I used it for a nail art design in this post: Monday Manicure: Blue Dots

11. CoverGirl Lip Perfection Lipstick

I first tried this lipstick because I had a coupon for it from the Sunday paper (the paper usually has CoverGirl coupons every week along with other beauty brands). The shade I have is Darling, which is a medium pink that doesn't look artificial. It has a very natural look to it. Not only do I love the color, but it also feels nice on my lips - not drying or thick. There were a lot of different shades when I got this one, but I haven't been back to get more. I plan to get a few more of them because I really love this one.

12. Loreal Voluminous Original Mascara

This is one of the few mascaras that I repurchase frequently. In fact, I probably turn to this one the most. I like to try different ones, but none of them work as well as this mascara does. I always choose volumizing formulas over lengthening ones because my lashes long yet thin. This mascara gives them plenty of volume and even lengthens them a little more. I love the size and shape of the brush and the formula is great too. I always choose blackest black.

Which of these drugstore products have you tried? Any favorites?
