The Best Blemish Treatment Ever!

Aren't breakouts so annoying?! They just seem to spring up out of nowhere and take forever to go away.  Sometimes it's a challenge to make them disappear! Recently, I've discovered a product that work's amazingly well at shrinking blemishes overnight. Keep reading to find out what it is.



First, a little about my skin...
I have combination skin that is acne-prone. I tend to get most of my breakouts right before that time of the month. For the most part, I have my skin under control and it has gotten much better since I started really taking care of it a few years ago. I have a skin care routine that is working well, but there is still a need for a spot treatment for the blemishes that like to show up randomly.

I've used tons of skin care products from many different brands. Lately, I've been trying Mario Badescu skin care products. There's one in particular that has done remarkably well for me....

What is it exactly? An acne cream that conceals and heals!

This cream is recommended for under-surface bumps or erupted pimples. It prevents pimples from getting bigger and reduces the over-production of oil. It can be worn during the day or night and can be blended out until invisible against your skin.

My Thoughts
This cream is incredible. I apply it at night and in the morning I can tell the blemishes have shrunk dramatically. They don't completely go away overnight, but the difference is huge and surprises me every time. I have found my miracle product! Occasionally, I even use it during the day under my makeup.

You don't have to apply much of the cream at all. Just barely dip your fingertip into the product and apply it to the areas that need it. It looks white-ish on me since I have tan skin, but I'm able to blend it out pretty well to where it's not noticeable. The cream does not irritate my skin either.  The only thing I don't love about it is the smell. It has a sulfuric scent that takes some getting used to, but it's by no means a deal breaker (for me at least).

See how light it is against my skin? This is way more than I would ever apply though.

I think this product is well worth the money - $14 is not bad at all, especially for an acne product that actually WORKS. Also, it seems like it's going to last a really long time.  Most of the reviews I've seen of this cream have been absolutely glowing! Of course, it's not going to work perfectly for everyone, but it seems like most people have a highly positive experience with it.

Alternatively, if you get a lot of whiteheads, you can use the Drying Lotion from Mario Badescu. It's a popular product and the first one I picked up from the brand. I don't have as much use for it as the cream, personally. It does show up on my skin though, and it actually stings when I put it on. I don't love it as much as the Drying Cream, but it has worked well when I needed it. I always see glowing reviews of this one too. It's the same price as the cream.
