It's time to take a peek at my Beauty Box 5 for June! Unfamiliar with Beauty Box 5? It's a monthly subscription service that delivers a box of cosmetic samples to your door for just $12/month. There's always a good range of products in each box and sometimes there are even full-sized products!
What came in my box...
I spy a full-sized bottle of polish!
Vitabath | Body Wash - Dreamy Pink Frosting
Vitabath always offers some pretty amazing scents for their products. This one is from their Cupcake Couture line...yum. It smells just like frosting. I can already tell I'm going to be craving cupcakes in the shower. I've always been pretty satisfied with Vitabath products. This body wash is sulfate and paraben free.
Organix | Coconut Water Shampoo & Conditioner
This shampoo & conditioner team works together to hydrate your strands with coconut water, electrolytes, and coconut oil. The result: healthy, shiny hair. I don't love sample packets like this, but I still put them to use! I bring them along with me on little road trips. They're small and I can just toss them out when I'm done.
Nicka K New York | Nail Polish
This nail polish is a deep red, named Ripe Apple. I love wearing red on my toes for Summertime so this will be used for my next pedicure. The formula is formaldehyde free and available in 58 colors. Plus, it's affordable at just $4.99 a bottle.
Glam Natural | Mascara
This vegan mascara is gluten-free, paraben-free, and hypoallergenic. I like trying new mascaras, but I'm not willing to pay too much for them. This one is priced at $28, so it's unlikely that I'll purchase it unless it's the most amazing mascara I've ever tried.
Eslor | Introductory Collection Calming Kit
Eslor's calming kit comes with a soothing refiner & cleanser, a replenishing scrub, a comforting mask, and a soothing cream. The set aims to calm inflammation while hydrating. Unfortunately, these packets don't provide enough product for me to really tell if I'd like these products or not. I've never heard of Eslor though, so if nothing else, I can look more into the brand to see what they offer.
My favorite product in the box was the nail polish (bet you saw that coming!). My least favorite were the packets (shampoo/conditioner and skin care products), only because it's hard to tell what a product is like in such a small amount. On the other hand, it's nice to be exposed to brands that I've never heard of. I'm still liking this box!
