What's more fun than playing with colorful eyeshadow? When it comes to makeup, it doesn't get much better. Even though I wear a neutral eye for my daily makeup, I love creating a colorful eye look every now and then too. You have to step outside the box sometimes and live a little! I was able to try out the Tropical Eyeshadow Palette from BA STAR. Keep reading for my thoughts on the palette along with swatches, an eye look, and a giveaway (you can win this palette!).

This palette has some bright, summery colors that can be blended together for a tropical look. Worn over the Glue Eye Shadow Base, the colors pop and last longer. 

As you can see from the swatches, the shadows come out pretty true to what they look like in the pan. Based on the swatches alone, I love the blue and purple colors the most!

Now for the eye look...

Here's a close-up of the eye look

It came out as a beautifully blended tropical eye. It's hard to tell where one shadow ends and another begins (which is great!). This look really made my brown eyes pop!

For the look, I started with the Glue Eye Shadow Base, which can also be used for glitter. I applied the green to the inner corner, followed by the pink and the purple in the center of the lid, and the blue to the outer corner. I added black gel liner and false lashes to bring it all together. I love how it turned out and I think the colors would be even brighter over a white base.
