Groupon for Beauty Discounts!

Lately, I've been checking out Groupon a lot for discounted beauty products. They always seem to have a bunch of great deals on an assortment of products. I find all kinds of great brands on there: NARS, Dermablend, Ardell, Clarisonic, China Glaze, etc.

New Makeup Vanity!

Oh boy, what an exhausting week. I've been working hard at redoing our office to accommodate some makeup storage. Everything had to be rearranged so that I could include an extra furniture piece, which meant finding homes for the excess that couldn't fit.  When you're in an apartment with little storage and no garage, it can be quite a challenge.

The other day, I stopped at Ulta with my 20% off coupon and headed to the NYX area. I was on a mission to get some lip products. I picked out six gorgeous lippies! Lucky for me, they were Buy 1, Get 1 50% off.

18 Beauty Favorites of 2013

It's that time again! I've compiled a list of all my favorite beauty products of 2013! I did this last year (see the post here) and it was a hit. White and nude eyeliners are great for opening and brightening the eye area when applied to the waterline. I've been searching for a good white liner for quite some time. I wanted to find one from the drugstore because I wanted to see how it looked on me before investing in a high end brand.

NYX Butter Gloss - Vanilla Cream Pie

I'm a sucker for tubes of lipgloss. I am just drawn to them. I do not, however, care for the feel of them on my lips most of the time. I hardly wear gloss (even thought I like the look of it) because it feels sticky and my long hair gets stuck to my lips every few minutes. I've seen a lot of buzz about the NYX Butter Glosses and since they're carried at my Target now, I thought I would buy one to try. I picked out the shade Vanilla Cream Pie.
