Deborah Lippmann Rockin Robin

Purchased by me

In my recent nail polish rack video I mentioned that I wanted more Deborah Lippmann polishes. I had two already, but because of their costly price tag ($19), I don't get around to buying them very often. In fact, I didn't necessarily spend my own money on the ones I've acquired - they came from my Birchbox points! I checked my points a couple weeks ago and realized I had $30 to spend. So, I immediately took a look at the Deborah Lippmann lacquers in the Birchbox shop and picked Rockin Robin.

Rockin Robin is a milky mint color with small dark black glitter. It comes from the Staccato Collection which was inspired by ice cream! That's pretty funny - when I was applying it all I could think about was how much it looked like ice cream. Now I know why!

This polish definitely needs 2 coats to be opaque. I added a third, but it's not necessary. The cool thing about this polish is that because of its milkiness, you can see the specks of glitter at different depths. The glitter isn't big or flashy, It settles into the polish really well.

My favorite part about Deborah Lippmann polish is the bottle. I love the shape of it. I would love to have the other two colors from this collection too. This one was the only one offered on the Birchbox website though.
