Maybelline Falsies Big Eyes Mascara

I've been seeing commercials for Maybelline's new Big Eyes Mascara and I've been intrigued to try it. It's supposed to make your eyes appear twice as big and give your lashes 360 degree volume. I picked it up to put it to the test!

There are a few things that stood out to me about this mascara:

-Application did not take long nor did it take a lot of effort - some mascaras work well at creating volume, but you have to sit there and build them up forever. This one does the job quick.

-My lashes look darker, bolder, thicker, and pushed up. They stay that way for the remainder of the day. 

-The formula didn't wear off after awhile nor did it flake. 

-It was easy to remove at night when I washed my makeup off. 

My comments:

I like the two brushes. The upper lash brush amplifies my lashes in a major way. At the same time, I don't feel like my lashes look spidery. The lower lash brush is great because it's a lot smaller, so it's easier to reach all of my lashes. I think having the two brushes helps to create a good balance  because my upper lashes are big and bold and my lower lashes stand out without looking too intense.

Also, my eyes are pretty big to begin with. Do I think they look twice as big because of this mascara? Not exactly, but it might have that effect for someone with lashes that lay low and don't have any lift. 

That being said, I think this mascara does work well.

Will I repurchase? Yes, I'm pretty sure I will!

Do I recommend it? Yes! Try it out!!!
